Laser Accuracy and Precision
At Evansville Sheet Metal Works, we use a rapid inspection system that employs lasers to measure the accuracy of our fabricated parts. For two-dimensional parts, the laser can measure the accuracy within 0.05mm (0.002 inches). It can even check some three-dimensional parts to tolerances within 0.25mm (0.010 inches).

Designed for the manufacturing environment, our inspection system verifies system calibration before each scan to ensure repeatable accuracy. By pinpointing errors immediately, we reduce scrap and rework, and insure you get exactly the parts you need.
Take quality to a new level
Our inspection system captures more than 500 data points per second and is accurate to within 0.05mm (0.002 inches) and can provide quality control reports. We can provide 100% part inspection, or just a sampling, depending on your needs.
Reverse Engineering
We can also reverse engineer existing parts or templates. The scanning process captures the complete profile of parts or templates at laser speed and stores the data in CAD-compatible files. It also eliminates costly hand measurement and CAD programming.
